Soliciting Scholarship Applications

Just for your knowledge (and feel free to challenge me if you don’t like my process), the way I email students is as follows:

For students with demonstrated need, I send an individual email to each student, inviting them to apply. I follow up with them, individually, as the deadline approaches if they haven’t submitted their application.
For students with no need or who didn’t fill out FAFSA (usually indicative of no need), I send one email to the group with everyone bcc’d. Will didn’t submit FAFSA (from Mercer Island). That is why he was on the group email from me (but I confirmed definitely included) and didn’t get multiple touchpoints, reminding him to apply.
